Thomas H. Hines

Thomas H. Hines (65), passed away peacefully at home on August 19 under the care of Hospice Savannah. He is survived by his wife, Gail, daughter, Selena, stepsons, Vincent and Graham, brother Stanford, and dog, Lola. He is pre-deceased by his parents Thelma and James Hines and brother James E. Hines, Jr. He was a lifelong educator who most recently taught in the graduate program at Webster University and previously at St. Leo, University of Phoenix and Embry-Riddle after a long administrative career at Savannah State University. His was a life well lived filled with love for his family, his garden, and the history and beaches of coastal Georgia.

A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, September 13 at 9:30 AM at the Pin Point Heritage Museum, 9924 Pin Point Avenue, Savannah 31406.
